EVENTS

Only participate in sanctioned games, tournaments, events during the regular season (mid-August through the conclusion of USAH Nationals).

If participating in an unsanctioned off season event under CAHA Member Association must follow unsanctioned play policies. No USAH insurance coverage. Requires different team name, different jersey, signed waivers from all families.

games

Must IMPORT roster from USAH at start of season. Do not enter initially roster manually.

10U to 18/19U and HS if using USAH officials and playing on full ice MUST score and post on Game Sheets.

10U and older – coach MUST sign every game sheet – league, non-league, tournament, in state, out of state.

If using roster labels (preferred over handwritten rosters) use exact same names/spellings as on USAH 1-T roster.

Tournaments

Must verify tournament is sanctioned by USAH or Hockey Canada. Check for sanction number. Contact tournament director if no sanction number listed.

10U and older – coach MUST sign every game sheet – in state or out of state.

New tournament roster required when adding players from other teams for a tournament. If only adding substitute goalie, can add to regular season roster.

Travel

Travel permits required for any travel outside of Colorado – league, non-league, tournament.

Three permit options available: League/Non-League Games; Tournaments; Travel to Canada.

8U does not travel out of state without CAHA pre – approval. Only for teams near state borders and closer to jamborees in other states (NM, WY, UT)

10U – 2 out of state trips max. Exception for 10U AAA – 3 out of state trips max. For this purpose the RMD (CO, OK, TX, NM, AZ, UT, ID) is considered as in state though travel permits still required if out of CO.
